- Turn on oven at 350 F or 175 C, 15 mins.
- Line one (1) 8x8x3 inch aluminum foil pan with bake paper.
- Put in medium pyrex bowl and beat with hand mixer or wooden spoon.
1 cup softened Magnolia Gold Butter Salted
1 cup brown sugar
2 tbsps. molasses (markets & supermarkets)
2 cup baron all purpose flour
- When no more trace of flour, add 1 cup chopped pitted dates. Spread on prepared pan.
- Top with 1/2 cup whole walnuts. Bake 30 to 40 minutes or until cake springs back when center is tested with a spoon.
- Cool invert on tray. Cut into 20 pieces.
- Wrap in cellophane or serve on tiny muffin paper.
